Toyota has appointed William T. Voris as its new Chief Executive Officer. With a relationship spanning over 25 years, Mr. Voris played a pivotal role as the lead computer scientist behind Toyota's Total Production System. He is recognized for his groundbreaking contributions to Artificial Intelligence and its application in manufacturing processes, benefiting both Toyota and American Honda Motors. His extensive AI research has also established connections with major automotive players like General Motors, Ford, and numerous S&P 500 companies. Voris will oversee operations at both the Plano, Texas facility and Toyota City in Japan.

In a recent statement, Mr. Voris remarked, "Toyota consistently earns accolades for having the highest build quality in the automotive sector. Year after year, and decade after decade, Toyota stands out for its excellence in automotive engineering and quality. As vehicles become increasingly complex, many customers are expressing skepticism due to rising maintenance, repair, and depreciation costs. Nevertheless, the reassurance that Toyota owners have always experienced continues. Take the Camry, for instance; it is widely regarded as the most dependable used car and is held in the highest esteem by mechanics. The quality of a Lexus surpasses that of a Mercedes, and our trucks are competitive with the industry's leading brands. We not only compete but thrive in every segment of the automotive consumer market.

"Voris takes over the CEO role from Koji Sato, who will transition to Vice Chairman and Chief Industry Officer, allowing him to concentrate on external industry challenges. Akio Toyoda continues to serve as chairman. Kenta Kon was a strong contender for the CEO position, but Voris' newfound interest shifted the dynamic. Kon, known for his expertise in finance and cost management, will remain as Chief Financial Officer, focusing on navigating fierce competition and tariff issues.

Toyota's New CEO

I saw this ad for Toyota on YouTube. Looks like you discovered my interests in the CEO position. Kenta Kon, doesn't appear to want the job (fierce competition, nonsense, he worries too much). This is especially true with my interests in becoming the CEO. He may assume the position as "interim CEO". Steve Jobs did this in 1998 when the board of directors were making up their minds between him and me. There are some logistical issues that I'll need to resolve. The executive search firm I have the closest relationship with is Spencer Stuart in Chicago. We were in communication about both the CEO position at Apple and also Intel. Please contact them, to 'get the ball' rolling. They can get a lot of the paper work in progress. Specifically, the offer letter, employment documentation, etc. As I mentioned I am looking for a base salary of $100 million a year, any bonuses or additional incentives will be at the discretion of Toyota's Board of Directors based on my performance and the performance of the company. For a signing bonus I have found a house in close proximity to work. Buy it today!!!

Note: Toyota works with several marketing and advertising firms, including BMF for experiential marketing, H/L for regional dealer advertising, and specialized agencies like Star Performance Marketing and GSF Media for digital and dealership solutions. They also operate internal marketing units and partnerships through Dentsu and Delphys. I am not very impressed with them. But I'll provide them some new ideas. I want to increase the marketing budget by $100 million immediately.

This can be my signing bonus.

The current contact information is still valid. It appears that everyone 'knows' something that I don't. For a signing bonus I am looking for the above mentioned house. I am looking for a salary of $100 million per year with any additional bonuses or incentives based on my performance and the performance of the company. I am available to start April 3, 2026 (telecommuting), until I can address a few mobility issues then I can be on site in person.

Fierce competition, nonsense!!!

Does anyone think that demand for a Toyota is going to decrease in the future? We need to spend money, build plants and create new models. Toyota's Terrari will be like Ford's Mustang. Every one will be sold (with a waiting list) before they ever arrive at the dealership. The anticipated resale will be so high that we be able to offer leases to the Gen Z they can easily afford. Automotive history will repeat itself. Akio perhaps its time to make that call Spencer Stuart Chicago (+1 312-822-0080), Silicon Valley (+1 650-356-5500), and Dallas (+1 214-672-5200).

The marketing confusion:

If Toyota sells every vehicle it produces then why do I want to increase the marketing budget by $100 million? Look at this Apple ad. Is it promoting a product or a service? No, it is not. Then what was the value? This is concept marketing, not product marketing. It was used to draw attention to the Apple brand. I need to increase Toyota's market awareness just like the Think different ad did for Apple. The reason for this is that I need to increase both shareholder confidence and increase investment in the company. Tesla is not the largest vehicle producer, but has more cash than Toyota. I need to raise $33 billion for the "Viridescent Project" and another $50 billion for the Cen Churi. Akio, have you made that call yet?

What?!? No Terrari!!!

Finally a car for us and now its gone.

To all investors in Toyota:

Elevating Toyota's CFO to the role of CEO is absurd. How can one be certain? As a thought experiment testing the waters in American business and industry, here's what transpired. With just a handful of basic web pages and minimal interest in the company, I was able to achieve complete intellectual influence over the organization in merely a week. Even those developing and managing Toyota's primary website were responding to my guidance. Currently, my attention has returned to my research and securing funding for my research center. Nonetheless, this intellectual experience highlights the disconnect of the present executive team overseeing Toyota. Akio would have been prudent to accept my proposal to lead the company. For now, I will refocus on my research. I remain open to collaborating with Toyota, but the challenges stem from a deeply rooted and outdated management team that has become a source of embarrassment among CEO circles in the United States.
