Elevating Toyota's CFO to the role of CEO is ridiculous. How can one be certain? As a thought experiment testing the waters in American business and industry, here's what transpired. With just a handful of basic web pages and minimal interest in the company, I was able to achieve complete intellectual control over the organization in merely a week. Even those developing and managing Toyota's primary website were responding to my guidance. Currently, my attention has returned to my research and securing funding for my research center. Nonetheless, this intellectual experience highlights the disconnect of the present executive team overseeing Toyota. Akio would have been prudent to accept my proposal to lead the company. For now, I will refocus on my research. I remain open to collaborating with Toyota, but the challenges stem from a deeply rooted and outdated management team that has become a source of embarrassment among CEOs in the United States.
